Book Reviews of Practical IntuitionBook Review: Focus your Thinking Summary: 4 Stars
I found the practical information on what intuition is and how to develop it very helpful. I also believe that the exercises helped me to develop more discipline and focus in thinking about problems and issues. While the book talks about stock choices, etc., I didn't think it made false promises. I came away thinking that this book was about learning and mental discipline. As a result of reading it, I am reading a few other books with exercises for the development of my intuitive ability. A reader will make a mistake thinking this is about "esp" or fortunetelling. It is about utilizing what you know and developing access to all the information we absorb every day.
Book Review: good stuff Summary: 4 Stars
I really did like this book. Although, towards the end i got quite antsy to hurry and finish. It got a bit too technical or else, tedious for me. Now, i purchased this book because i am a HUGE fan of Laura's recent book, 'How to Rule the World From your Couch'. that book is way better, and more modern....
Book Review: Good book Summary: 4 Stars
This was well organized and provided some additional insight into the concept of intuition.
Book Review: Practical Intuition Summary: 3 Stars
I found the 1st exercise to be a bit confusing. When I did mine & then looked a sample I was no where near that. I was a bit stumped by that.
However, the one thing that bothered me the most is the author seems to be a bit (only a bit) star struck, in the beginning of the book she talks about George Soros and how he used his intuition to invest, we now know there was more going on & I believe it was the French Govt that caught him doing some shady things. I consider him not to be what she represents him to be. It went toward her creditability of her Intuition, not being able to see past the star power. This actually set a tone that stayed with me, I couldn't shake it. I have always felt it is a mistake to use political figures in anything unless it's about politics. This bothered me so much, for so many reasons, I actually stopped reading the book about 1/2 way through. So Take this review with a grain of salt. Had I known there were figures like Soros, I would have skipped the beginning & went right to the exercises. I will attempt to get back to the book again at a later date.
Book Review: Not a How To Summary: 3 Stars
This is not a how to book, for that I'd recommed other books such as How To Do Psychic Readings Through Touch, Psychic Protection: Beginnings (Beginnings (Jackson, Tenn.).), Psychic Power: Young Person's School of Magic and Mystery (Young Person's School of Magic and Mystery, Vol. 2) and others.
This book is more for the beginners beginner and just knowing/understanding what intuition is.
