Book Review: Read and Do and Repeat Summary: 4 Stars
I had this book for years before I read it. Reading is not the correct word. It is a doing book. Laura describes each chapter as an "experience". Reading is intellectual, intuition is not and this is a practical book about how to build your intuition skills. There are two part to intuition: getting the intuitive message and doing the what does it mean/translation. It is the giving meaning that differentiates the beginners from the masters. With anything that requires doing - practice is the key. It took me two months to read, I mean - do it - front to cover. I was amazed at what I came up with. I correctly guessed a horse race winner, and a basketball score, and had some wonderful insights into my own questions. The book is full of one sentence gems, like these: "You are an active participant in the creation of your reality." and "How can you know the answer, if you don't know the question?" There were a few parts where I found myself drifting away, not sure if it got too wordy or the topic wandered off. However, I highly recommend it for people wanting to learn about and develop their intuition. I loved this book and have recommended it to several peers.
