Book Review: An Intuitive Shares Her Psychic Toolkit

Laura Day's book, PRACTICAL INTUITION, describes ways that we can develop our psychic senses and connect more clearly with the truths that are out there -- such as what job is best, what partner is best, what to do to improve one's health, and how to make better investment and business decisions. Most of us suffer from occasional lapses in what we call "reason" or "judgement", in which we ignore deeper knowledge of who we are and what we need. This knowledge is fully accessible to each and every one of us, according to Day, who provides fun and informative exercises designed to build up our intuitive talent.PRACTICAL INTUITION sets itself apart from other intuition books by starting with the working assumption that we all have access to universal truths and can see the future, feel how others are feeling, and generally live our lives in mystical fashion. I love this approach to the subject of intuition, because I share these beliefs and enjoy experiencing the magic in life.
I love the section Day includes in this book which shows you how you can quickly help almost anyone become your own psychic guru (even when they don't think they are psychic at all) -- for those times when you need an unbiased opinion, and don't want to hire a psychic. This is a very creative technique that you're sure to have lots of fun with as you get the answers you need to those burning questions.

PRACTICAL INTUITION picks up where other intuition books leave off, and can raise your intuitive ability to heights you never knew you could reach.

This book is the only one you will need to develop your intuition. It's the best. You can read other ones if you enjoy the topic, but if you have a limited time, this is it.
It's not a theoretical book. You find all the explanations you need in there, but even she wrote in the introduction that if pressed for time you can go direct to the exercises.
You need to do those if you are serious about developing your intuition. You also develop extra senses, like sensing the future or if some part of your body needs careful attention. She believes these are senses underdeveloped in the majority of people, but they are evolutionary. They are there to be developed when needed. Laura is an intelligent, caring woman. I am a better me after reading Practical Intuition. Thank you Laura.

Everyone is born with intuitive ability that they can develop and harness to make life work for them - whether it is to be aware of good opportunities, bad people, or find out where you lost your keys ... intuition and intellect are the best bed fellows. Although it is a matter of debate ... psychic awareness is something much bigger than intuition. Everyone is intuitive but not all people are the bonafide psychic who can see across the realms of creation. Nonetheless, don't allow intuition to stay dormat. Don't get wacky and forget about magic. This book is useful, both in its outcomes and in the way it can be used.
I purchased this book after I read it at the library. I had completed all the exercises in the book and wanted to do it all over again with an entirely new set of questions!
Laura Day has a way of getting you out of your head, and into your gut, so that the information coming through can only be intuitive. Though some of my personal answers were a bit fuzzy, I can only imagine this is because I have not seen the answers come to fruition yet. Other answers were clear.
Her book is exactly what she says it is - no disappointments whatsoever!

the book was helpful by filling a void in my search for the future. i need help in making decisions. the book gave me the help. it is also, a fun game to play with friends and family. who will win the super bowl? my family plans on playing a game with this book to tell us the winner. you should do the same. life goes on with or without this book the same as it goes on with or without god, but it is fun to have both to play with. laura day should be on a talk show. in the book, i see it happening. have fun with the book at your next need for a YES or NO.
