I am an USCF expert and I recommend this book.
Most of the exercises are "easy", but some of them are not.
In fact some of them require some deep calculation. (Even though it is less then 10% of the material)
It is just like in a real game if you do not take the exercise serious then you will find that the great sacrifice the author lured you into making, did not work out.
