Jesus Christ In His Own WordsA universe within the self and outside of the self, the microcosm and the macrocosm. This is what Jesus meant when he said, "The kingdom of God is within you and without you." This photo journey takes us from the universe within our selves to the universe outside of the self and strikes an astounding similarity. It begins with a couple having a picnic in a park and goes in closer and closer to the hand of the man, then into his dermis, epidermis, and so on until we arrive at the smallest particle, the atom. The atom, the very stuff of all creation is seen as a solar system in and of itself. At the center of the atom is the nucleus with protons and neutrons. Whirling around the the nucleus are electrons in electrically charged space. And so it is; 0.99999 of all matter is space or "non stuff."
Conversely we move outward as the man and his companion dwindle in the distance. Now the sun is seen as the nucleus with the planets circling it. Further and further away we move until we are outside of the Milky Way and we are one of many stars in the universe.
