Book Reviews of Potty Time with Elmo (Liittle Sound Book)Book Review: Great for developing an interest in the potty Summary: 5 Stars
My sixteen-month-old daughter isn't ready to try the potty yet, but she is becoming interested in it. This book is probably too basic to use for actual potty training, but she's very interested in it and likes to read it and push the buttons all the time. Plus, this book has two advantages over the other potty books I looked at:
1) It's a board book. She's not good yet with paper pages.
2) It illustrates using the actual toilet and not a baby potty seat. We're not planning to use a little potty.
So that made the book perfect for our situation.
Book Review: An enduring classic.... Summary: 5 Stars
This book has it all, drama, romance, shocking betrayal, cattle stampedes sword fights, and an underlying profound and piercingly sarconic social commentary reminiscent of Winston Churchill, before he started wearing ugly hats. Clearly, 'Potty Time with Elmo' is one of the great masterpieces of modern literature.
If William Faulkner could metaphorically use Jimi Hendrick's guitar as a quill, and the canvas was one of Martha Stewart's finest linen sheets (on sale this week, 40% off), the result would be 'Potty Time with Elmo'.
Book Review: A fun way to get your little one excited about using the potty Summary: 5 Stars
Had to post because of the other negative reviews I see. Ummm no the book does not go into graphic details about how to use the toilet as one reviewer apparently expected. It does provide a fun way to talk about using the potty with your little one. My 2 year old goes around saying "Elmo can use the potty!" a phrase from the book. We also talk about how he needs to use the potty because he's a big boy just like Elmo and David (Elmo's doll). Enough said.
Book Review: Cute, Fun, Educational & Very Sturdy Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my granddaughter, she loves Elmo so this book is
the right one to teach her about going potty like a big girl, she
loves to push the different buttons so she can listen to the sounds
they make, a few of them make her laugh. It's a great way to learn
& have fun at the same time! She loves it & so do I.
Book Review: My daughter loves this book! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book for my daughter when she was 16 months old. She loves the sounds and the photos. And until now that she is already 20 months, she still reads it and manages to turn the pages while pressing the buttons, too.
