Book Reviews of Polite as a Princess (Disney Princess) (Pictureback(R))Book Review: I can be just like a Princess! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the perfect book for your princess so she'll have manners fitting the princess that she is! And when she uses them she'll be welcome where ever she goes! Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Cinderella teaches your daughter such important things like sharing, saying thank you and sorry when needed. How to to have good table manners like using your napkin, covering your mouth, cleaning up and putting away things before starting something new and other terrific manners every princess should know.
And even though you might tell your child time and time again about good manners hearing it from your favorite princess at this age makes them want to be just like them! It would be nice if they also included Pocahontas and Mulan.
Book Review: Gorgeous Book! Summary: 5 Stars
My little three year old princess has trouble bringing herself to say "please" sometimes when she wants something as well as refusing to pick up her toys after she finishes playing. However with this book we will be able to conquer these problems quickly, I'm sure. We have only owned this for a few days and she loves it already. Whenever we have a situation I need to conquer, I have been opening the appropriate page so she can see what Snow White, Cinderella, Belle or Ariel does instead! It seems to be working so far.
Book Review: Good, simple lessons for little girls working on manners. Summary: 5 Stars
This book has great messages in easy to understand princess-themed situations. Our daughter loved listening to us read the "story" to us over and over again, but the etiquette messages definitely sunk in because she often reminds herself to "act like Sleeping Beauty" at the table. I bought this because it was cheap and I figured it couldn't hurt, but it REALLY helped -- turned out to be a great purchase!
Book Review: Good reminders for little princesses Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book based on Amazon.com reviews, and held it for a few weeks until dinner the other night when one little princess couldn't stay seated in her chair, and the other couldn't keep food in her mouth. It was a good reminder, in a fresh presentation -- better than Mom and Dad correcting them (again). It was a hit, and we have read it a few times since.
Book Review: Great for manners! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is great way to introduce and reinforce manners. If your child loves Disney Princesses, she'll adore this book and treasure it as a guide for being a princess herself! My 3 year old daughter quickly remembers her manners when I ask, "are you acting like a princess?" Great book!
