I bought this book, the "99 critical shots..." and a couple more locally. Frankly, just this one would have been more than enough. There is NOTHING in the "99 shots" or any of the other books I have that isn't covered by Capelle in this book and that would be of any value. Capelle goes beyond "what" you should do and also explains "why".Book Review: Awesome indepth book

This is probably the best pool book for practical play out there. I have read "99 critical shots" and Byrne's books, but this one is better by far. My game took a quantum leap after I had been working with this one for a while. Highly recommended!Book Review: Play Your Best Pool
