"Pit Stop in a Southern Kitchen" is a great recipe book for anyone and a true "must have" for fans of Nascar greats Dale Earnhardt, Dale Jr., and Jeff Gordan. I met and talked with Martha Earnhardt and Carol Gordon Bickford when we exchanged books (my new title and theirs)at their recent signing during the Talladega race weekend. I found both of these new authors to be friendly, down-to-earth, and engaging in talk about future titles. This book is full of simple to prepare, time saving recipes that are sure to impress everyone from your kitchen table to your next family reunion.
"Pit Stop" also offers some short personal stories and pages of before unseen,and interesting family photographs from both Martha Earnhardt and Carol Gordon Bickford, depicting the rise of four of Nascar's most successful and respected drivers. If you like racing and love eating you will surely want to buy this book!
