When Union Plastics, in Leominster, MA closed it's doors, it was the end of an era. How sad. Ah well, we still have the museum. I bought the book by Don Featherston (creator of the original Pink Flamingo) and on top of my monitor at work sits a Pink Flamingo Gift Set. Of COURSE I bought it for myself!! Everyone loves it. Now I'm ordering 2 more as gifts. They're kitschy. They're silly. They're fun. They make me smile. What's better than that?!
