Book Reviews of Pieces of My Heart: A Life

Book Review: Robert Wagner...one of a kind!
Summary: 5 Stars

I loved this book! For a Hollywood celebrity, he is amazingly down to earth. I am close to his age and have enjoyed his movies from the beginning. It is so rare to see those people (celebrities)forgive each other, like he and Natalie did. They went on to a full married life. Temptations with these beautiful people were bound to happen. Except for her untimely death, his life was surely blessed.

Book Review: Pieces of My Heart
Summary: 5 Stars

So well written and excellent pictures. This book brings back so many memories of a time when life was so much simpler. Wagner tells it all and many will probably be surprised at the Hollywood "goings on". Wagner comes across as a very kind and loving man who was loved by all of his friends; as well as he loved each of them. If you were born in the 30's or 40', this is a must read!

Book Review: Fantastic!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have always been a fan of Robert Wagner. The way the book was written is how I expected it to be. The book flowed along really well. I enjoyed getting to know alot of famous celebrities (most of them are now deceased) through RJ's memories. There was a good combination of elements in the book from knowing the people he dated and who other people dated, etc.

Book Review: An entertaining and revealing autobiography
Summary: 5 Stars

Whether you've followed Robert Wagner's career or not, I think you will find plenty to enjoy in his forthright description of how he made it in Hollywood. It was fascinating to learn how he befriended big stars, like Gable, Astaire, and Tracy. And he conveys genuine feelings about his relationships with twice-wife Natalie Wood and current wife Jill St. John.

Book Review: Like a personal conversation with RJ
Summary: 5 Stars

Reading the book I felt like I was having a personal conversation with Robert Wagner - a very entertaining read. Added reflective details on difficult situations - such as Natalie's death and his relationships with his parents, Natalie, Natalie's family and the lawsuits with Aaron Spelling. What a life and what a guy - would highly recommend it!
