Photoshop Elements 6: The Missing Manual
I am new to photoshop, and recently bought the new Elements 6. I was looking for a book to help with digital scrapbooking in elements, and found this. It is not specifically for scrapbookng, but I have found everything I needed quickly and easily! It is a fantastic book, written in easy to understand format. I have already recommended it to other friends both new and old to photoshop. MUST HAVE!!

This is a manual that actually reads well. I have not had it long enough to have mastered PSE6 but am dealing with one task at a time, as the author recommends.
PSE6 can be intimidating, particularly if you need the help of a written manual. We all have different learning styles and remembering what I just read in the online manual from Adobe and applying it to my project doesn't work for me.
The author walks you through each process and says it several different ways. I am really enjoying this book!

This book is GREAT - I have been using PhotoShop Elements since version II and was always pleased with it. I am now using version VI, and have been happy with the results. After starting to read this book and use the information provided, I have discovered how to REALLY use PhotoShop Elements! This book is easy to use and is well written. I think it could be used to advantage with Elements IV also. Buy it, use it, enjoy the results!!!Book Review: Use as text or as daily reference -- all good

I had The Missing Manual for Elements 5.0 and purchased the new manual for Elements 6.0.
This is a "must have" combination of "step by step", possible classroom text, and daily use operational manual for Elements.
I am a heavy Elements user, and don't even want to think about what life would be like without this manual.

This book was recommended to me by a friend. Now I highly recommend this book to you. I like how the topics are presented. I learned about features I had not used and was not aware of. I love the inclusion of keyboard shortcuts that I now use during the use of Elements 6, resulting in a lot less mouse clicks and movement through the menues.
