I read this book when it was first published, and being a Phantom of the Opera fan, I loved it! The book explained so many of the reasons that Eric became the man he was...I read the book twice and loaned it out...and lost it. I'm so glad that it has been republished! Thanks for one of the best reads of my life!
Eric's story will move you. His life was full of adventure, pain, and love. I could not put this book down once I started reading it.

In this book Susan Kay takes a monster and makes you fall in love with him. He has been turned into a man who can murder someone in a heartbeat and not break a sweat or blink an eye, and yet the audience aches for him. Every time I'm done reading this book (that I have now read at least five times, and I RARELY read a book more than once) I spend at least a week really missing Erik. She draws you into his world, and it's very hard to let go.Book Review: Phantom

I have read almost the whole book in the short time that I have had it and since I received I can't put it down. The author does a great job with giving Erik a beginning. The book is a real page turner. There are parts of the book that you feel so bad for Erik that you want to cry and other parts where you laugh. I would highly recommend this book to any Phantom Phan, it's a must have and that's why this book has 5 stars.Book Review: Wow!

Probably one of the best books I've ever read. When I read the first page, I was already hooked. I loved reading about his life, where he travelled, whom he met, how he was dispised by family and society. His life was just so tragic, and he was so brilliant. You have to read it! However, I'm pretty sure that mainly women will like this book...it's just more our thing, I guess.

This is a must have for any phan!!!!!! Susan Kay does a wonderful job with this book and it is a great read even if you're not a phan. I would give this masterpeice a trillion stars if I could! I can't express how much I love this book! Well I guess you'll just have to read it for yourself.
