I bought this book, because, as an artist, I was having trouble putting the right perspectives on my paintings. Perspectives have always seemed difficult to me, so I was looking forward to finding a text that would be able to educate me on this subject quickly and easily. This book fills the bill. Good, solid, workmanlike explanation of perspective, described step by step. Plain language, no wasted words. Clear drawings. Do the assignments, it's like taking a class you'd pay $350 for. I'm an avid collector of art books and I've found this particular book one of my greatest acquisitions on the subject of perspective. The lessons are clearly presented giving a newbie a solid foundation for drawing.I bought this book because a previous Amazon reviewer stated that this book was recommended by Andrew Loomis. I was not mislead!!!
