Book Reviews of Perspective Made Easy (Dover Art Instruction)Book Review: the title says it all Summary: 5 Stars
first off, I'm not an artist.
I wanted to learn perspective for drawing construction details.
I've had a book for years that I've tried to read at various times but could not make any sense out of it. It's called "perspective for artists".
This book came up as a recommended book for me and I decided to give perspective another shot.
I'd glad I did. This book is awesome. The material is presented simply and clearly. For the first time I feel I have a good, solid, beginner's understanding of perspective that I have been able to instantly use in my drawings.
Book Review: Excellent introduction for beginning artists! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book because Andrew Loomis (Figure Drawing For All Its Worth) recommended it. I'm glad I followed his advice. If you are going to own only one perspective book, then this is it. However, if you're an interior designer, architect, engineer or draftsman then looks elsewhere since this book's primary audiences are freehand artists. This is one of the few books out in the market that exactly delivers what it says on the back cover. And it's a reprint from 1939! I'd give this book a rating of more than 5.
Book Review: Persoectuve Made Easy Summary: 5 Stars
Excellent Title for this book, it really is "PERSPECTIVE
MADE EASY" ---- shows HOW lines and shapes can come together
to form Perspective and it is written simple and with
precision. And being such a small book, it can be carried
in a purse! If you want to learn HOW to draw a skyscraper,
look at this book. ---- If one really wants to conquer
PERSPECTIVE one should buy all books on Perspective because
each book has something about it to teach.---- Luisa Felix,

Book Review: Buy it and keep it for reference Summary: 5 Stars
Wow! A very nice book for learning perspective for artists (without even one formula!). As an artist you must obay to the laws of perspective for your creation to become natural.
The book starts from the basics to more advanced topics with an easy to follow examples and sketches. After reading this book you'll be amazed at how many drawings are drawn without ever considering such an important subject!

Book Review: A good basis Summary: 5 Stars
This book provided a good basics of perspective. At first I thought it was too simple, but it covered the basics of perspective in such a way, that my more advanced books on perspective made more sense. I needed this book's clarity on the basics (which I thought I already had, but did not) in order to really understand the more complex (which I thought I understood, but did not). And this book was written in the 1930's!
