Before I owned this book, I never really understood its allure. It seemed like it wasn't really brightly colored enough to hold my daughter's interest. Boy was I wrong! She has loved this book from the time she was about 8 months old. She's now almost 2 and it's still one of her favorites. She especially loves the little hole representing the mummy's ring and always wants to put her finger in my ring too. The one problem with the book is that it's not at all sturdy...but then again, it is quite well loved.Book Review: My daughters' favorite!

We got a hand-me-down copy of this book when our daughter was a year old. She would bring it to us in our bed every morning so she could start her day off with it. She enjoyed it for several months. When we had a second daughter I bought a nice, new copy of it and she also enjoyed it and read it over and over. I think this would make an excellent gift for a new baby or a child's first birthday since that is the age when they really get into it. Lots of things to feel on the different pages - they love it!Book Review: Pat the Bunny

My little brothers and I all had our own copies of Pat the Bunny. (Fifty or 60 years ago the books were made of paper and didn't last long enough to be handed down to another child.) Now I give Pat the Bunny to all my friends' babies for their first birthdays. The mothers are always thrilled to receive the books, and the babies love them! (For second and third children, I give Pat the Puppy and Pat the Cat; from the fourth child onward the cycle begins again with Pat the Bunny.) Highly recommended!Book Review: Pat the bunny

This is a true classic! I was read Pat the Bunny many, many times growing up. I recently bought it for my granddaughter and she loves it. The first time I read Pat the Bunny to her she was sitting in my lap on the floor. We read it over and over and by the end of the day when her mom came to get her she was playing peekaboo and putting her finger in the ring. The best part is whenever I pick up a book to read her, she climbs right back into my lap and that is an absolutely precious feeling.Book Review: A Classic that Really Impacts

Our 2 year old daughter got this book when she was a few months old. She immediately loved touching the bunny - and quickly learned to turn the pages - to look in the mirror with Judy. By 7 months she was smelling the flowers, putting her finger in the ring and playing peek a boo with Paul. At 9 months she would ask us to let her smell all the flowers in the garden and on the street. She still loves the book and enjoys when we read it with her and her new baby brother (4 months old).
