Book Reviews of Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book)Book Review: Delightful interactive experience Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second copy of this wonderful book. My grandson wore out the first copy and now his younger sister is enjoying the new book. Favorite page, hands down, is the peek-a-boo page but my grandbabies participate in every page, looking, sniffing, feeling, waving. My granddaughter spied the book on our shelf and got very aggitated that we didn't see it and were offering her every other thing. When Pat the Bunny was handed to her, she smiled hugely, hugged it to her chest and then brought it to me to read. What could be better?
Book Review: Cute, interactive Baby book Summary: 5 Stars
All 3 of my boys have just loved this book. I received it as a baby shower gift and have since ordered it for other moms-to-be. This is a great beginner book in which the baby can interact with the book playing peek-a-boo, feeling Daddy's face, etc. I think this book helped spawn a love of books for each of my kids. I would recommend this book for age 4 months to ??? My older kids sometimes join in the reading with their baby brother. Our one book has held up well, and I look forward to having it for my grandchildren!
Book Review: Oldie but Goodie Summary: 5 Stars
My mother had bought my son Pat the Puppy initially, but he was never that into it. I remember having Pat the Bunny when I was little and loved it, so I bought it for my son as well. He is 9 months old and loves this book! He loves playing Peek a Boo with Paul and feeling Daddy's scratchy face. He even pulls the book up to his face to smell the flowers and puts his finger through Mummy's Ring. And yes of course he loves to Pat the Bunny too! This book is a classic, but even the newest ones still like this book!
Book Review: Dorothy Kunhardt's best book. Summary: 5 Stars
Dorothy Kunhardt has written many books for children. This one lets children play with two of it's charachters named Paul and Judy. The reader can do things like pat the bunny, feel Daddy's scratchy face, and read Judy's book. Parents will help their babies do these things as they read. My copy of the bunny no longer has it's fur, and Judy no longer has her book, but as of now, I have bought at least 2 copies of it. Now please ask the publisher to re-print Little Pee-Wee the Circus Dog, by the same author.
Book Review: One of my baby's favorites! Summary: 5 Stars
At first my daughter was not very impressed with this book...the pictures aren't as compelling as in some of her other books. But as she's gotten older, the interactive details of this book have really made this one of her favorites. She talks and laughs at the characters for a good 20 minutes at a time. And anyone with an active 1 year old knows how impressive that is! Its sturdy design (double-folded cardboard pages) also make it fairly destroy-proof, though I'm sure there's a baby out there that will find a way!
