Book Reviews of Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book)Book Review: This Bunny's a FAVORITE!! Summary: 5 Stars
Our son inherited two identical copies of Pat the Bunny from his big sister (who adored the book equally), and he quickly learned all the fun things he could do with Paul and Judy. His favorite thing to do is to play peek-a-boo with Paul. We are disappointed that the binding has failed on both copies, but gladly, it is due to them being so LOVED. In order to keep our now-one-year-old boy happy, we are buying him a copy of his own for Christmas (and maybe a spare for the diaper bag for outings).A true favorite story-simple and fun! And a great gift to receive for a new baby.
Book Review: My son's favorite Summary: 5 Stars
My 14 month old son has never been good about sitting through a whole book - especially a new one. I wanted to spark his interest in books a little more so I bought the Pat the Bunny book and bought him the bunny, too. The first time we sat down to read this book, he sat still and let me get almost the whole way through. Then instead of getting down to do something else, he went back to a previous page to play Peek a boo with Paul. That is still his favorite page, although now he likes to smell the flowers quite a bit, too. This book kept his interest.
Book Review: perfect for the curious baby Summary: 5 Stars
While "Pat the Bunny" may be a true classic children's book, it is also a great curiousity piece for infants big enough to know what they are looking at somewhat. My son is ten months old and loves to literally tear this book apart as the binding is sort of flimsy. He loves to touch everything and play with all the "interactive" things throughout the book. He just gets more curious with each page, and wants to figure out how it all works. This is great for babies and preschoolers that love to touch everything they see.
Book Review: Get your baby involved Summary: 5 Stars
A friend gave this book to my son for his first birthday. At first, he didn't mind it at all, since the cover is in pastel colors. But soon after, it became his favorite book! He does all the tricks ahead of me, like patting the bunny and putting his finger in the hole. He just loves it! We read and play with it at least 5 times (yes, 5 times, i memorized it already!) each time he picks it up, which is at least 2 or 3 times a day. Instead of just reading to him, get him involved with books. And this is the perfect book for the job!
Book Review: a childhood favorite!! Summary: 5 Stars
I am 26, but I think that the first time i read Pat the Bunny, by Dorothy Kunhardt, was when I was 2 years old!!! And as I have continued to be an avid reader throughout my lifetime, I will never forget this classic!! The simplistic yet interactive book comes to life for a child's eyes and mind. It really gives the child a chance to feel like they are "part" of the book. Even though we are so far into technology and children spend time on computers, Pat the Bunny is a favorite because of its' appeal to old fashioned reading!!!
