Book Review: attracts attention - a timeless classic

This little book which I bought on impulse turned out to be the best of the activity books for my son, now 13 months old. He is easily distracted and this book (coupled with his father's additional stories about the bunny) helps him stay focused and stimulates imagination. It is also very helpful at the evening meals, when he is so fascinated that even the tiredness does not make him fuss over his cereal. He literally screams in delight whenever we take the book out.
The simple drawings, mild colors and especially soft fur of the bunny make this book an essential for every baby. I cannot recommend it strong enough. A classic, it will sure be a great gift for many generations of babies.

This is the best touch and feel book I have come across...your baby can not only pat the bunny but also do several other things like learn to play peek-a-boo, smell the flowers, look in the mirror and so on...my daughter absolutely loves looking at the book and I love reading it out to her...whenever she cries I start reciting the book to her to calm her down and it works! she has the book memorised coz as soon as I get to the end she starts waving bye-bye just before I get to that part...however, I wish this book would come in a sturdier version (like a board-book) as my daughter has already torn off her first copy and I had to buy another copy for her...Book Review: Awesome classic

This is an awesome book and a classic! My 18 month old twin girls have really been into touch and feel books. This is definitely one of their favorites. It has soft textures, scratchy texture, and the peek-a-boo is their favorite as well as the mirror. It also has a scent page, which is great as well. The only thing I would change is to make it more durable. I've already taped it back together, and the comb binding comes undone easily when toddlers are handling it. It is still a great book, and I would recommend it to anyone with toddlers. At least it fits in my purse or diaper bag easily because it is small and lightweight.Book Review: Fun for Baby

My daughter loved this book. It was literally hours of fun when she was an infant (parent and baby together and baby by herself). I like to give this book as an extra shower gift and have yet to be disappointed at the response by a new baby. The senses are involved which makes the reading experience fun -- feel, smell. Different textures are introduced -- Daddy's scratchy face, the soft bunny. The book closes with Paul and Judy waving goodbye and the book asking the baby if she can wave bye bye. I can't tell you how CUTE it is when your baby starts enthusiastically screaming bye bye to the characters in her favorite book.Book Review: A Wonderful First Book for Baby

This is the most wonderful book for baby and mommy or baby and daddy to read together whenever you begin reading together. Our little one LOVED this book from the first time he saw it. It didn't take him long to learn to do all the things on the pages as we read them to him....pat the bunny, put his finger in mommy's ring, feel daddy's scratchy beard, etc. And as he grew he learned to read the book with us. I have continued to purchase this book as gifts for first-time parents. This will always be a part of our library.....especially when grandchildren come along someday. Timeless in simplicity and appealing in content!
