Book Reviews of Outcast of Redwall (Redwall, Book 8)Book Review: The enemy has returned in a different form Summary: 5 Stars
The OutCast of Redwall is yet another thrilling story told by Brian Jacques which grips the heart of readers, making them read on, not want to put their book down. And i must say that once you pick up the book, you'll find it very hard to put down! Here you meet new charaters of evil, good, pure-heart, and misunderstood. Thrown away from his father's band of vermin, a baby ferrate ( i think ) who grows up inside the mighty Abby Walls of Redwall where there is peace. But this baby ferrate has plans of his own. He is given the name Veil, for more reasons then one reason, and is the trouble maker who finally comes to the point of almost killing some creatur! After being caught of attempt murder, he is kicked out of the place he bitterly called home and before running off into the cruel world, shaking his 6 claw paw that he had inherited from his father,he yells to the abby creatures, ,"... See these paws, well, you dyed them red, an' red they'll stay, to remind me that someday I'll be back! Aye, with my own horde( a group of ruthless vermin), I'll tear this Abbey apart, stone by stone, then I'll slay ever livin one of you, i promise!" ok maybe not they most comfoting things to say but what else would you say if you were kicked out of your home and forced to live in the wilderness by yourself? Once Veil leaves, his guardian, Bryony who was the only one who took him in, followed him, covincing herself that he could and would change. And so that jury began. But then Veil's father that he never knew, Swartt Sixclaw, is also on a mission to find the Badger who paralized his paw, Sunflash the Mace. At the end, they all meet accidently for a smack down! i will not tell you anymore for it would spoil the surprise. But all i can ask you is, Was Veil as evil as some creatures though he was? For as the old Badger mother, Bella wrote: Give him a name and leave him awhile, Viel may leave to be evil and vile, Though i hope my prediction will fail, and evil so vile will not live in Veil. other then that, this story is a book inside a book. i could go on and on but i am runnin out of room, so here is what you will find and more! You'll find all creatures that live in woodlands in this story. that means from birds to moles. each has their own funny dioglue that will always put a smile on your face. but what i don't recomend though is reading a feasting part on an empty stomach! Wonderful detail and a wonderful plot and story go very well to make this book. Some people don't think that this story is great but to me, i can't think any but "Redwall" to be less then 5 stars!
