The first chapter of this text is the most anti-Catholic, anti-American piece of liberal bias I have ever read in three years of graduate school. It falsely states that the Roman Catholic Church teaches that sex is only for procreation and never mentions the "unitive dimension" of sex in marriage in Roman Catholic doctrine. It uses references from people who call themselves "catholic" but do not believe what the church teaches.
The authors use the sexual deviant Alfred Kinsey as a reference to push their liberal agenda. I believe his studies were found to be unreliable, invalid and certainly unethical (he used reports from pedophile, Rex Green, as "data" about infants having orgasims).
Pro-life presidents like Reagan and Bush put "restrictions" on USAID to foreign countries regarding abortion, while pro-abortion presidents like Clinton and Obama "freed" USAID to foreign countries so that poor people would have access to "safe" abortions.
Of course, there is a major emphasis on how Western Christianity suppresses women and sexuality while the Muslim faith gets flowery treatment on how they treat women and sexuality.
All of this in only the first chapter!! i can't wait to continue becoming "educated" by the rest of this text.

I will never buy anything from this company ever again. The book came in a good amount of time. However, I did not end up needing the book and the company would not take it back. Once they send out a product they will not return it.
