Book Review: Great story line, P.345, there are mixed up names!

The book has many interesting characters. I enjoy every line of the story. There is some interesting information about those socialites that I am sure the author has based on her personal experience. Somehow I found it fascinating. It is definitely a page turner.
On page 345, I am not quite sure if that is a mistake. It looks like a mixed up of the name. "Mrs. Enid Houghton". Well, I guess mistakes happened, even with a big publisher.

Wow!!! Have never read any of her books, but was so awed by this one!!! The writing, the characters and the way she put it all together was amazing. Such a great page turner I couldn't put it down. Enjoyed the movie of Sex and the City and would love to see this book come to life in the movies! Reading the book was actually like living in the building. Her writing technique was so vivid that it felt like you were there with them.Book Review: You wont be able to put this book down!

Candace Bushnell's novel One Fifth Avenue is a must read for urban females. Her character descriptions are detailed and sexy. My favorite character was Lola and her relationship with Phillip. Lola brings a fresh young vibe to a novel containing mostly middle aged women and men. This book will make you want to move into one fifth or at the very least move to NYC and get some new designer clothes.

When you read the summary of the book in the cover it does not give you a really good idea of what to expect but there is so much more to this book than you could ever imagine. This book was her best. I was so sad when it was over. It has a nice sinister, mysterious quality to it with VERY interesting and well-developed characters. I like how she had great characters from young to old.Book Review: Best Book I've read in along time!

I've never read any of Candace Bushnell's books. I have however watched her show sex and the city and loved it, so I thought I'd try out her newest book. I couldnt put it down and was completely disappointed when it ended, cause I wanted it to go on and on. I hope that this will be made into a tv series also or that perhaps she'll come out with a second book to this one.
