Book Reviews of Once Upon a Potty -- BoyBook Review: Good start Summary: 4 Stars
Well, this is the third time we have used this book and it is really exciting for our almost two year old. He started using the potty within a couple of weeks...he loves to read the book while he is sitting...lets hope it lasts!!!
Only complaint I have is that the author uses some silly words for body parts and natural processes...but luckily my son can't read yet so I just change the words to suit.
Book Review: Pretty Good Book Summary: 4 Stars
I don't know if any one book actually helped get my son to potty train. I think it helped put the idea into his head though. Potty training is more difficult than I ever imagined, but I think we're getting there. I recommend this book though. Kind of odd drawings with pictures of the boy's rear end, but I guess kid's need to see it. Maybe.
Book Review: learning by osmosis Summary: 4 Stars
At 20 months my son is already enjoying this book even though he isn't quite ready for full-on potty training. But making him familiar with the process through reading should hopefully be a great start.
Book Review: Fun Illustration Summary: 4 Stars
The book does what is intended for our child by illustrating the concept in a fun and entertaining way. We like the book and are sure others will as well!
Book Review: Great for sitting on the potty Summary: 4 Stars
Great for sitting with your little guy and encourage him to do his thing. I was a little disappointed in the slang name for the anatomy -"pee-pee".
