This is the book that I read to my son (30 years ago) to potty train him. I now give the book to new parents!!!! The book is so funny!!!!

The seller had an excellent product and did exactly what they said they would do. Would use again.

Book Review: Cute little story
Summary: 4 Stars

I recently received the Once Upon a Potty gift set and think that the little book is quite cute. I know that some may not agree with the terminology used in this book (i.e., wee wee, poo poo, etc) but to be fair to the author, it seems like it would be somewhat difficult to find discreet terms for these--sometimes embarrassing--normal bodily functions.

Lastly, for those who may not know, the term "potty" is short for "chamber pot". . .which is a portable, pot-like container typically used as a bedroom urinal. I think this is probably the explanation for the use of a pitcher-shaped pot in the book (the cutest part in my opinion). So, for the "wee" ones, this book can be a great history lesson also.

In the end, I think that I would purchase this product again.

Book Review: My son's current favorite!
Summary: 4 Stars

We're in the process of potty-training now and my son really likes this book. It has encouraged him to consider the humble potty as a receptacle for his waste and has been a springboard for his questions about biological functions. Really, a great kid-friendly book. That being said, the writing is really awkward and I have to agree with another reviewer who pointed out that mom seems quite put upon to be changing diapers. So I've been reading the book in the 3rd person from the outset and glossing over poor mom's role in the process. I'm not trying to guilt my kid into using his potty.
