Book Review: Such a Treasure!!

This book was given to me as a baby shower gift. Many nights before my daughter was born, I would sit in the nursery and read aloud "On the Night You Were Born". This book was one of the most important items packed in my hospital bag and the night our Ava Claire was born, my husband and I read it to her for the first time with tears streaming down our checks. Our Baby is now 7 months old and it still gives me chills. We plan to make it a tradition to read this book at bedtime on each birthday. I also have purchased several books to give to friends since it is such a wonderful gift that I will ALWAYS cherish!Book Review: Powerful message

This book's powerful message could change the way the children in the world see themselves. This is truly the bedtime stories to end all bedtime stories. When I read it to my daughter again and again, he always feels so special. Wish it could be handed out to new parents as they leave the hospital. Thank you to the author for giving us this special memory. The artwork is also beautiful! Another special title that I recommend above all other children books is Why Some Cats are Rascals ( Book 3).Book Review: The book every child should have.

I got on Amazon to purchase a different book as a baby gift for a friend. This one came up as a suggestion, it looked good so I ordered it. I was not disapointed. I loved this book. The story line is thoughtful and eloquent. The art is fantastic and wimsical. I have bought many many copies of Maryann Cousamano's "You are My I Love You". I will be buying and giving this one too! It is a book a parent, a grandparent, a sibiling or anyone who loves a child should be reading with them. The text and art send a beautiful message of how special the child is who is lucky enough to hear this story.Book Review: Beautiful book

I was looking for some new books to buy for my nine month old son when I found this book. I wanted to buy some cute rhyming Dr. Seuss-type books but I also wanted to buy him some "keepsake" books - the ones that tell a great story or impart an important message that he can keep and cherish as he grows up. This is definitely a "keepsake" book. The illustrations are beautiful, and the message of this book - that your little one is truly special - is very moving. My husband actually got tears in his eyes when he read this book. I will enjoy reading this book to my son for years to come.Book Review: a choice you will not be sorry you made...

WOW, do I love this book! On a good day, it gives me chills. On a better day, well, the tears might start flowing! Beautiful, beautiful prose. Enchanting illustrations with little surprises hidden in them. Beautiful, rhyming verse with very special meaning. I first ordered this as a birthday gift for a relative and have since ordered it again and again, for my daughter for her upcoming birthday, and for other friends and relatives. I even ordered a back-up copy- I always like to give books as gifts and this makes such a special gift! You won't be sorry with this selection!
