This book is well worth the buy, especially for people who like japanese traditional art, wolves, or just need something good to look into. All in all this book is very good, and better yet it only took a couple of days for it to get to my house came packaged nicely, not to hard to open, and when I got the book out it was in prime condition. I played the game and am almost done with the sequel.The book is absolutely beautiful and was shipped and received on time. The only complaint I have for it is that the binding is already starting to come undone, I wish they had made a hardcover version. Definitely worthwhile to buy even if you've never played the game. brilliant book, that shows just how much effort went into the game! Definatley no regrets of buying this, and would recommend it to any fans of Okami or Japanese art. Particulary liked the designers notes and the book itself was of perfect quality and great size. So much detail and really classy images, the perfect art book. Get the book... you wont regret it!

I really like the stylization of Okami. So much so that I bought the book for the concept art. There are environmental works and characters in the concept section. There is also a section of demon scrolls that you find in the game. Almost everything in the game is in this book. I collect a lot of art books, and this is easily one of the best I've picked up. Tons of designs, notes on the artists' process, finished pieces, it's really got everything. The art style for the game is so interesting and unique, and this art book so thorough and well-done, that you really can't go wrong with it.
