Book Reviews of Odd Thomas

Book Review: Take a vacation!
Summary: 5 Stars

Reading "Odd Thomas" is truly like taking a vacation in your mind! You will get lost in the story and characters and feel totally refreshed once you have read this book. Pick this book up and you will see that this is a great story to curl up to and forget about your everyday worries. You will love the main characters (at least the "good guys") and have a hard time believing that they aren't real people! This is the first time I have read a Dean Koontz book. Based on how much I like this one, I'll be reading plenty more of his books.

Book Review: I don't like Dean Koontz
Summary: 5 Stars

I am not a Dean Koontz fan at all, but because of the large number of people who are, I occasionally give one of his books a shot. Most of the time I am simply reminded as to why I am not a Dean Koontz fan. Odd Thomas, however, was a massive exception to this rule. It just seemed to have all the ingredients and to fit them together so well: an interesting premise, an endearing main character, and witty story-telling. Even if you're not a fan of the author, or even the genre, this book is well worth taking a chance on.

Book Review: Odd Thomas is Dean Koontz's "Roland the gunslinger"
Summary: 5 Stars

The Odd Thomas series is beyond a doubt Dean Koontz's master work. Never before has he been able to create a character that is both endearing, mysterious and just plain all around neat. Much like Stephen King's famous "Dark Tower" series, Dean Koontz has created a series that keeps you turning the pages in anxious anticipation to what is going to happen next. If you don't find yourself immediately entranced with Odd Thomas and the world of Pico Mundo, you should check your vital signs immediately, you have no pulse.

Book Review: Who Better To Lead Us, Then Odd..
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a WONDERFUL book. I particularly don't like to read many books, and am more of a visual person. Thus i prefer movies over books. However this book was recommended to me by a friend, so i chose to read it.

The story is GREAT, from beginning to end. I wont fill in the details, but by the end of the book you feel deeply connected to Odd Thomas. Why ?

Odd is a normal person, just like you and me....almost

if you haven't read it, BUY IT NOW. You will not be dissapointed.

Book Review: Riveting
Summary: 5 Stars

Odd Thomas is simply becoming a future classic Koontz novel, such as Phantoms or Mr. Murder.
He has such great control over the flow of the story, such grace in his ability to tell a believable story that you'd honestly think you're running along side of the character.
This is undoubtedly an amazing piece of literature that will not soon be forgotten.

High praise for Koontz!
