Book Review: Fine, but not among the best Reacher books
Summary: 3 Stars
I've loved all the previous Reacher books (except "Without Fail" which was also dull), but this one falls flat. Definitely not among Child's strongest efforts. Not a lot of action, the villian was dull, and the plot was meandering. Started out great, then went nowhere.
People seem to be dinging it on the politics, but I found that neither suprising nor distracting - in fact, I found the brief statement of Reacher's view of the war to be very much in character.
