Book Review: Couldn't put it down!
Summary: 5 Stars
The name says it all! This book is about a marriage that stood the test of time and survived. Where others would have normally failed, especially during a time where divorce rates are at an all time high, it was refreshing to read an endearing love story.
I liked that this book gave me hope in the bond of marriage. In this microwave age, everyone is doing quickie marriages or divorcing at the first sign of trouble. Marriage should last forever, but somehow it has been reduced to cooked bread in a microwave and simply discarded because of lack of consumption. There is no care put into it like the baking of good fashion, keeping ingredients that is so meticulously placed in the preparation that it's hard to make but worth it in the end if you really want to commit to the outcome of a desired result. My desire is to make it last and savor everything I put into it. That's what has been restored through this book.
