NIGHTMARE ASYLUM IS THE SECOND OF THE TRI SERIES BY STEVE PERRY. IN THIS ONE, WILKS, BILLIE AND BUELLER STOWAWAY ABOARD A SHIP TO ESCAPE FROM ALIEN INFESTATION OF EARTH. THEY DO NOT KNOW THE HORROR AND DANGER THAT AWAIT THEM. A MAD MAN NAMED GENERAL SPEARS HAS HIS OWN IDEAS FOR CONQUERING THE ALIENS. HE HAS ASSEMBLED HIS OWN COLLECTION OF ALIENS THAT HE THINKS HE HAS CONTROL OVER AND HAS BUILT AN ARMY TO FEND OFF THE ONES ON EARTH. HE HAS A QUEEN WHOSE EGGS WILL BE DESTROYED BY SPEARS IF SHE DOES NOT INSTRUCT HER DRONES TO DO THE BIDDING OF SPEARS. I WILL NOT GIVE AWAY MORE OF THE PLOT BUT ACTION AND BATTLES GALORE ENSUE. THIS BOOK IS EASY TO READ AND MOVES ALONG AT A NICE PACE. IT IS NOT AS GOOD AS EARTH HIVE BUT PRETTY CLOSE. AND THERE IS A SURPRISE CHARACTER AT THE END WHO CARRIES OVER INTO THE LAST BOOK. IF YOU LIKED THE FIRST BOOK, YOU WILL LIKE THIS ONE ALSO.

Wilks, Billie, and Bueller were the last survivors of a devastating assault on the aliens' home planet.
