Book Reviews of Newcomb's Wildflower GuideBook Review: Very Useful Aid Summary: 5 Stars
Fantastic book with superb drawings as well as useful writings on the identification of native plants. Book is small and compact yet the binding makes the book excellent for pressing specimens until they can be properly stored.
Book Review: Best Wildflower Guide I Know Summary: 5 Stars
Because the keys are based on number of petals, this is the easiest identification guide I have. I take it into the field along with the Peterson's guide, which has better illustrations, and cross-check my flowers.
Book Review: spring fever Summary: 5 Stars
An excellent guide for really identifying wildflowers for the amateur naturalist. Not many color photos, but a good systematic approach to positive identification easy for anyone to follow.
Book Review: A must have Summary: 5 Stars
This is a plant key you must have in your library of plant keys. Nothing that you take into the field in the northeast, is as comprehensive.
Book Review: Great dichotomous key Summary: 5 Stars
Great key! Have used this one for years. I'm replacing a copy destroyed when i left it in my kayak on the roof of my van in a rain storm.
