This is one of the first all-purpose cookbooks I received (as a gift) when I was first learning how to cook, and everything I have made from it has turned out beautifully! From cakes to pies to beef stroganoff, this cookbook will not fail you.
If you can't find this version, I would recommend to pick up any Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. I have several editions of this one - because each adds ONE more different section - go figure! Plus, my family knows I love cookbooks, and they never remember which ones I have!
