This crossword dictionary was actually a replacement for one that was used everyday in our home while working crossword puzzles. We literally wore the old one out, and I decided to buy my wife a new one. This particular dictionary seemed to be the best all around one for our needs, so we decided to stay with our original choice. Great book.Book Review: Needs to be hardbound

I bought this dictionary for my mother, who is a crossword fanatic. She does the crossword in the newspaper every day. She used it so much, she wore it out in six months! Now, I'm looking for a new one for her. I just wish it was available in hardbound. I'm looking for a hardbound dictionary now. Enjoy it, just don't wear it out!Book Review: A must for any Level of Crossword Puzzle.

I have several Crossword Dicitionaries.
But, this is my favorite. Some of the other Dictionaries are very confusing, if you not sure what word to look under, This is easy to read, simply laid out for young or older to used.
I would say this is the Best for all skill levels of Crossword Puzzle Lovers.

It took nearly ten years, but I literally wore out my first A-Z Crossword Dictionary; it fell into several pieces eventually. I have other crossword dictionaries, like the New York Times one, but the A-Z one is absolutely the best for the average crossword puzzle lover. I'm happy to have a brand new copy.
