Good Morning
I am a crossword fanatic. I have used this dictionary for a few years now, and finally it started falling to pieces. It got to the stage I just couldn't repair it any more. Our bookshops here in NZ were out of stock, and I find this dictionary invaluable for my crosswords.and just couldn't do without it, especially for the "Stinker Crosswords" So not knowing when the bookstores here would receive new stock, I decided to order one on line straight from Amazon.

I had searched and searched for another copy of A-Z crossword dictionary and couldn't find another one in the store. dWarren1 had a used one for sale, that was advertised as used with spine bent and pages crumbled a bit. I didn't care. I ordered the dictionary anyway because the one I had didn't have a cover or back and some of the pages were missing. Plus it was in 5 different pieces ! I got very prompt response and received the book within a week, in excellent condition! Nice doing business with people like this. JBooneBook Review: So far one of the best.

This book to me is excellent. Today I did the Sunday Funnies Crossword puzzle and got through 75% of my puzzle with this book. It features TV Shows & Characters etc. for that show. Movies with stars, oscars etc. Noble prize winners through the years such as peace etc. I can't say enough about this book. Also used for the NY Times puzzle in the Sunday paper today.I have 8 other Crossword Dictionarys and the only other one equal to this is A to Z.

As I work the Crossword puzzle in our local paper each morning, I have found this dictionary to be very helpful. It has replaced an older version of the A-Z dictionary that I have had for well over 20 years,and was becoming very worn. I had been looking in bookstores for a new one, when I thought about going on line searching for one, I was "sooo happy" when I found it. I would recommend it to anyone who loves crossword puzzles as I do!Book Review: The Best

This is the BEST crossword Dictionary that I have ever used. I am ordering one now as a replacement as the other feel apart from use. My only negative comment is that it's not up to date past 1985. So newer phrases and words will not be there. It's great for unusual hard to find things and it gives many options on a word. I wish that someone would come up with a Book that covers TV stuff and old movies. Those always trip me up.
