Book Review: Excellent resource - Worth its weight in gold!

I have had much success in using "The New Comprehensive A - Z Crossword Dictionary" since I received it. It was given to me as a gift from my Aunt who recently got a new one (not sure if it is the same book, just newer or not) and passed this one on to me. To say the least, it is in pretty bad shape. There is a huge crack in the spine right in the middle of the "French" section; however, I still find this resource indispensible when it comes to help with my puzzling needs.
I can recall once I was doing a crossword puzzle with my sister (two copies of the puzzle) and we both came to a clue we could not figure out (I can't remember what it was). She had just bought a brand-new Webster crossword puzzle dictionary and was looking her first clue up. She had no luck finding it so I pulled out my ratty, taped-up, 1995 dictionary and found the clue with ease. Needless to say, she wrote in her dictionary where that clue should have been.
I guess what I'm trying to say is one thing you look for in a crossword puzzle dictionary is reliability. This book certainly has that and I cannot recall a moment when I have been let down. When this book becomes too far destroyed I intend to buy this exact book again. Do not be fooled by the big "brand-name" products. This one is the way to go!
