Book Review: Slightly Unimpressed
Summary: 3 Stars
This story is slightly problematic in a number of ways, with one being that it has a hard time going along. Several characters haven't appeared within the comics collected,and their is a slight jumping around quality to me. The characters randomly find each other, and the settings jump from New York to the Savage Land for no real reason more than the writers wanting to set up a mildly overhashed S.H.I.E.L.D. is evil story line. This is not bad in-and-of itself, but its been done several other times with significantly better writing. It even follows the X-Men's "everything with Wolverine works like a charm" policy by throwing him into the eam in one of the later stories. I would suggest ditching this story and, if you like the Avengers, buying Vol.1 of Mighty Avengers.
