Enough about that. This collection will hook you from the start. The artwork is top-notch and the full page shots are something to behold. The hardcover edition really sells the story and is a stellar showcase for this New Avengers team. Standouts incl. Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Luke Cage and of course Captain America.
Extras incl. the script to Issue #1, New Avengers Most Wanted Files, New Avengers: Custom #676: Army & Air Force issue which is pretty good.
The story is very easy to follow and is not watered-down at all. You will find yourself wanting to read each and every issue in succession. It really is tough to put down and I can't emphasize enough how great the artwork looks on the glossy pages. This is well worth the money and should be a part of any Marvel fans comic book collection. Highly Recommended and with all of the extras and there are a lot of them it is a Must-Have.
Summary of New Avengers, Vol. 1
In the aftermath of Avengers Disassembled come the New Avengers!
