Book Review: A Great Book About The "King of Goth Rock" Robert Smith & The Cure !!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
This is an excellent, well written, well illustrated book on the history of Robert Smith (including his childhood) and his band "The Cure". It covers the details about the recording sessions for each "Cure" album, up through the albums "the Cure", & "Faith", & "Join the Dots" (Box Set). Its very interesting to find out all they went through while recording these albums. Robert Smith is quite a "character".
This book also contains a complete "Discography" of every album released by the Cure, from their beginning "Three Imaginary Boys" up through the 2004 release of "The Cure" album & "Join the Dots" (The Box Set). It also contains a list of all the people who have been members of the band, and the dates that they were members (They had quite a "turn-over"). It also contains a "Videography" of all their videos that have been released through the Video "Galore".
This is a great book, and a "must-have" for any Cure fan, and I'm a fan. Do yourself a favor, and order one, you'll enjoy it. Its great reading for any rock fan period. Thanks!!!!
