Book Reviews of Natural Cures for Killer GermsBook Review: Stay on topic!!!! Summary: 2 Stars
At first I found this book interesting. I'm devouring all the info I can about 'alternative' remedies and a more natural approach to health. But when the author started spewing his rage against homosexuals, it got ridiculous. I mean, he didn't just state his case in scientific terms and move on. He felt the need to REPEATEDLY explain how the only natural sex is between a man and a woman. The hate he harbors for gay people was readily apparent in his words. I'm a straight woman so his rant wasn't directed at me, and I'm not easily offended by personal opinions that differ from mine, but I found the author's blatant hostility toward homosexuals SO ridiculously hateful that I lost interest in reading any more of the book. Luckily I borrowed it from a library and hadn't actually paid money for it.
Book Review: Had potential Summary: 2 Stars
At first glance, I was very excited about this book as I am a firm believer in natural remedies. But it quickly became apparent that this book was in support of the authors proprietary blends of natural remedies. That's just a pet peeve of mine. I was looking for a book that offered practical natural remedies that don't require purchasing a specific product line.
