I read some chapters of this book, and I must say that this true story is really very touching. These two Russian skaters had an interesting life as a married couple, and the writer does an excellent job at writing the fine detail about their relationship, and their baby girl named Daria.Second, this book has tons of pictures, and they are in color.
If you are interested in true love stories of real people; I then recommend You get this book titled, "My Sergei: A Love StorY" because it will be worth it. Very Original!

If I could give this book 100 stars, I would. I am 13 and have read this book 3 time. Every time I am in tears as I finish it. After you read it, it feels as if you know Katia, Sergei and thir family and friends. This is a must read for everyone. This book is the most romantic book ever. Katia is so strong and it inspires you to be like her. After you read it, you too will feel like you know Katia and Sergei. If you are hesitating on reading it or not - READ IT! I have read and reread this wonderful biography. This book is a must for any fan of G&G (Gordeeva and Grinkov) and any lover of ice skating. Ekaterina lovingly tells her story of how they met, trained together, and fell in love. She also gives one a good idea of what life is like for an athlete in the Soviet Union. A touching love story.....I only hope someday she chooses to write a sequel about her struggles and ultimate triumphs since that sad day so long ago when Sergei breathed his last.Book Review: A Wonderful and Touching Fairy Tale

I cried all the way through the book! "My Sergei" is, in my opinion, one of the best books that anyone could read. The love that Katia had for Sergei and he for her was described so tenderly and gently in this story. It's the best story since "Love Story" but I liked it even better because it realy happened. It's nice to know that true love exists, even in this day and age. "My Sergei" will touch, but also break, your heart as you read about this magical love.
