Book Review: A love and Romantic novel

My Sergei, which is a love story written by Ekateria Gordeeva, can be a very powerful book if the message sinks in. I love books that have some type of drama, as well as a twist of love and total romance. My Sergei are Ekaterinas or Katia's words and story of how her skating at age four escalated to pairs at eleven and falling in love with her one true soul mate and partner Sergei. All the trials and happy times are put together to create their love story. When tragedy strikes Katia's dear Sergei on November 20, 1995 her whole world changes. Katia's words are so strong that it is hard to not get sucked into the adventure of their skating life as well as their love story.My Sergei is a book that shows love for many different things. Any woman who would characterize herself as a hopeless romantic would fall in love with this novel. Anyone who has some sort of passion for something, whether it is a person of for an activity, knows how pushing yourself can change your love forever. The reader has to have an open mind and have a soft attitude about love and romance. In reading this novel, you can even find lessons that you yourself want to apply to your own life. Tears should not be an issue for those reading this novel though. Readers will definitely find him or herself feeling different emotions for a novel they never though they had.
Book Review: The greatest love story told

Since the beginning of this book you are immediatly obsorved by it. Throughout the book Katia introduces you to her life and Sergei. The book gives you insights of what the movie MY SERGEI doesn't, but I also recommend the movie as well. The book makes you feel as if you are traveling through time with Katia and about how her feelings toward Sergei start to change. She lets you in her secrets and whats more important the story holds nothing back and gives, or so it seems, the whole story as it truly was. It's a very sad story specially towards the end when Sergei's dead is told. And you feel the sadness and hopelessness Katia feels. It is then that you realize how much she truly did love him and how life without him willl not be the same not ever even if she marries another man. Like she eventually did but it is very obvious that the best years of her life were spent with Sergei as she herself mentions in the book. What leaves you with a little hope is that Katia was left with Daria wich now represents everything that Sergei and Katia had not only as figure skating partners but as lovers and the love they had for each other.Book Review: There's nothing like it!

My Segei portrayed a tale that feels so fantasy like, but is true and real. Katia's recollections of her childhood and the innocence that she had always experienced was magnificent. I especially enjoyed this book because I often watch ice skating. My friend reccommended it to me and i immediately fell in love with it. I've now read the book at least five times! But it seems that the best things in life are taken away or are out of reach. But of course, Katia could not have lived in such bliss forever. When i began the book, i did not know of the tradgedy ahead. i only knew that Segei would die. The descrition and the "realness" that was expressed in her words draws you in. No one ever wanted Sergei to die. But it seems that since he did die at such a young age, he will live on longer than he would have being but an Olympic gold medalist and World Champion. He would have been remembered well, yes. But Katia's story will bring Sergei into the lives of every reader of this book. This is a book to read over and over again.Book Review: My Sergei

The best love story Ive read. Its a page turner, you cant just read one page. The way that Katia and Sergei express the love for each other, its the way they are. They have known each other since they were four years old, they have become friends, then theyre partners for life. Its exciting to know all the places that they have been to. I describe this story as funny, exciting, loving, sad, there are too many words to explain. In Moscow, when people there fall in love is different than in the U.S. Here in the U.S. people date for so long, there in Moscow it could be the littlest thing or words a person could say and they would fall in love. It was the way that their friendship was so strong, and from friendship they became strong partners. I loved this book because it was a page turner and the love that these two people had the love of this world. At times this book had character, life, etc. There are too many words to explain the way I feel about this book. You have to read this to have your opinion of it.
