Book Review: Good product

My sister had one of these as a child. She now has a 4 year old of her own and wanted one for her. I purchased this. My niece loves it and uses it every day that she earns change.
It's not made to last forever (made of hard plastic and has stickers to put on) bc it's made for a child, but it does the job and serves the purpose well. My niece is learning to save, put money toward saving for things she wants to buy, and to tithe.
In today's world, teaching kids to be responsible and knowledgeable of their money is incredibly important. I was glad to find this still around.

It's simply a bank w/ three slots. It's made out of plastic. It has stickers you put on it. It's cheap. No surprises there. No. BUT IT'S BRILLIANT! Are you KIDDING me? Don't take this thing for granted. My 4 year old LOVES earning her money so she can put it in her bank. On Sundays we open the church to take the money to Jesus and she can't WAIT to tithe. It's not about the construction of the thing... it's about the lessons. THE TEACHABLE MOMENTS! This bank is perfect for teaching financial responsibility. I'm so grateful someone came up with this.Book Review: Wonderful product to teach about money matters!

I have heard wonderful things about this giving bank and finally decided to implement it with my 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. Obviously the 2 year old is a little young for the concept, but I drew up a chore chart and at the end of the week they each get $3.00 and each dollar goes into the separate banks. I explained each bank and my 5 year old cannot wait to give her money to "those who don't have any". It's a great teaching tool!Book Review: Kid-friendly money manager

We keep a tally of what he earns each week, then break down his earnings into the bank's three categories--church/charity, savings, and spending. Helps him see how you should put aside certain portions of your earnings, not just spend it all. This is exactly the bank I was looking for. There is a place to save for church, savings, and fun stuff. The bank is large enough to hold plenty of money and it is also easy to get the money out. We are very happy with the bank!
