Book Reviews of My First Taggies Book: Sweet DreamsBook Review: Good for 0-9 months but not much older Summary: 4 Stars
Someone gave this to my daughter on her 1st birthday and she hasn't been interested in it at all. I wish she had gotten it earlier because I know she would have loved it.
Book Review: Pleasantly Suprised Summary: 3 Stars
My eight month old daughter recently received this book as a gift along with another brand of cloth book. I thought the other book would be a hit because it had crinkly sounds, bright colors and more textures/3D pieces. But no, she prefers this book by Taggies. Like other commenters have stated, this is more like a toy than a book - she likes to hold it and chew on it while rolling around on the floor. However the simple (VERY simple) text when read aloud has a lovely repetive sing-song sound that she enjoys and it seems to relax her. The Taggies themselves don't get much play from my daughter - I think they are too small and not silky or textured enough. The info tag is the only one she plays with, but she loves the soft fleece fabric against her face. It's not really a bedtime book as that it is so very short and simplistic, but it's a fun toy to add to the arsenal.
Book Review: Cute idea Summary: 3 Stars
By the amount of interest my 8 month old gives to tags on everything I though this was a cute idea for a toy. Unfortunately, the tag on this book my son finds the most appealing is the actual information tag! He hardly ever bothers with the other tags on it. I think they should have made the tags bigger, they are a bit small and maybe brighter colors would be better too...
Book Review: NIce book. Summary: 3 Stars
I thought this would be a great book but was disapointed. The tags don't have any texture on them so my son doesn't really care about it.
