Book Review: Soft, Simple Book for Baby
Summary: 5 Stars
This book is very basic, with soft pages, interesting colors and textures, and (of course) the ribbon tags around the edges. The text is simple (I love daddy, daddy loves me) and pictures of a little teddy bear family are very inviting. There are textured hearts on some of the pages, as well. My favorite aspect of this book is that it is MACHINE WASHABLE! So after baby spends time sucking on the tags and drooling all over the pages, you can just toss it in the washer and dry it gently. Mine has been washed many times, and it comes out beautifully.
My little guy has had his since he was about 3 months old. He first enjoyed just mouthing it - the tags, the pages, you name it. Then he would look at the pictures while I read. At around 8 months, we put it in his crib so he would have something soft to play with when he woke up. Now, at 13 months, he will point to the pictures, touch the different color hearts, and find tags with different prints on them.
If you're looking for a soft, fun book that baby will be able to play with for a while, this one is a good choice!
