Book Reviews of My First Book Of Tracing (Kumon Workbooks)Book Review: the perfect intro to pre-writing Summary: 5 Stars
Great book, I bought it for my son at 2 1/2 and he Loved it. It really helped him learn to hold a pencil and develop his motor skills, most importantly it kept him enthused about it. Great quality book, thick pages nice pictures to keep little ones interested. I'd let him do 2 or 3 pages, but if it was up to him he'd do the whole book at one time. I just hope I can keep his enthusiasm for learning at this level : ) He's now graduated to uppercase letters, I can see that 'my first book of tracing' helped him with his letters.
Book Review: Good even for 5 year old to develop fine motor skills Summary: 5 Stars
My 5 year old son is having trouble writing at school so he started doing Kumon workbooks to improve fine motor skills and hand strength. I was reluctant to buy this workbook because it's for younger kids, but this and the Cutting book were great for him. It probably took him about 30 minutes total to do each book, in two sessions. He is developing fine motor skills without a fight and enjoying it so it's worth the money to me.
Book Review: Kumon does it right! Summary: 5 Stars
I've seen a lot of tracing books designed for my 3-year-old. This is no ordinary tracing book. It often takes her out of the lines and into free form writing or drawing. I loved this book and can't wait to finish it so we can get the next in the series. Because of this book, I'm sold on KUMON and will be looking for and buying more of their products.
Book Review: Great starter in the Kumon series Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased several Kumon books and they are all great. My son first enjoyed his cutting and pasting books, and we were able to move very soon to the tracing and simple mazes. Using this book, his pencil skills developed very fast, although he doesn't like coloring as much as tracing. He is now looking forward every day to show us his new achievements.
Book Review: My 26 month old loves this book!!!!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Every day my 2 year old says, "Book, book." We sit down and I show him how to hold the pencil, I steady his hand and he pulls the pencil in the proper direction (90% of the time). It's exciting for both of us. The pictures are beautiful and he loves looking at them. Also the pages are very thick, which keeps them from being easily destroyed.
