"My Booky Wook" was an unlikely choice for me. I was listening to NPR in the car while Russell Brand was being interviewed, and I decided that I had to learn more about this interesting character, which prompted me to buy his autobiography, "My Booky Wook." I must say, while reading it I started to think of drug use, sexual promiscuity, and theft as normal, every-day actions, but if you are not shocked by such things you will appreciate Brand's willingness to be so candid about his life. There are some good laughs in the book too, but if you are looking for a comedic act, you won't find it in this book. What you will find is Russell Brand, uncut and uncensored, sometimes funny, sometimes desperate, sometimes disgusting but always intelligent and eccentric.Book Review: Booky Wook Problem

I had a problem with the copy of this I got through, I think, Awesome Books, a company in England who I can't seem to find on the site now. My copy is missing the first 4 pages which is quite annoying.
Otherwise I found this quite a lovely read and enjoyed it very much. If you can get a hold of the entire book, definitely worth the money.

Despite his many demons, Brand is an intelligent comedian who has the gift of self-deprication and the lifestyle to amply feed that gift. Whether you're a fan of his comedy or not, it's a fascinating, quick read.
