Book Review: Thorough, concise
Summary: 5 Stars
This book has the combination that I look for - my twin boys like it, but it doesn't annoy me. The text is to the point, laying out what it means to use the potty and anticipate needing to use it, needing a nighttime diaper for a while, accidents happen, and so on. It's also not too long, preachy, or anything like that. I'll definitely be picking up the girl version in a year or so.Book Review: The Best Boy Potty Book on the Market

This along with "You can go to the potty" are the best books out there on potty training.
My 2-year old son really related to the boy in the story.
I appreciated that the book addressed where peep/poop goes after flushing it down the toilet. Every time my son flushes he says, "It is going in the pipes under the house!"
Perfect about covering the basics.

I purchased several potty training books through Amazon.com for our 2-year-old, and this was the book that ended up being exactly what I was looking for. It's descriptive of the process in the right level of detail, entertaining and interesting to him, and it's clear to me that he's beginning to understand what we're describing to him. This was a great purchase. My son really likes this book. It goes into great detail, which I think is necessary. I can tell it has made a big impression on my two-year-old. He wants to go just like "Michael". You will have to read this book to know what I mean by that... This is such a cute book, and it touches on some good potty training issues, like the fact that it takes some time & practice, and sometimes accidents happen. It's a little long, though; although my 2-year-olds usually hang in there, it tests their attention span at times. Overall, I think it's one of the better potty training books I've seen.
