Book Review: brutal story
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great story about Roy DeMeo and his crew. These guys were vicious killers who enjoyed making people do "the houdini." They ran out of people to kill so they started to kill each other. Then the ones left standing at the end were all sent to prison to rot for the rest of their life. Very well researched and very accurate account. Read this in conjunction with "The Westies" to get a more complete picture of how brutal organized crime became when drug crazed killers were set lose on the city.Book Review: MAFIA FANS CHECK THIS BOOK OUT

This book is an incredible tale of the car theft crew of the Gambino crime family. It is hard to fathom that anything like this could ever happen. A story about Roy DeMeo, a gangster who is considered by the F.B.I. to be the most prolific serial killer in United States ever(!), and his crew of killers. John Gotti himself was afraid of DeMeo and his crew, so that in its self is a reason to read this book.A great story about the Mafia one that is very hard to put down and one that you will read again.Book Review: Not for the faint of heart

This is a well written book about a group of very frightening people. It manages to describe their an almost unbelievable lifestyle without glamorizing them. After reading this book, you'll never look at a shower in quite the same way.Of course this another book written from the perspective of an imformant who after years of profiting from his association with the people he betrays, justifies his involvment by describing himself as a good old boy who got involved with some "really" evil people.

Hard to put this book down! The authors have written a well-researched book about the most gruesome murderers in Mafia history committed by the DeMeo gang - a brutal gang from the Brooklyn faction of the Gambino family. The authors will make you feel the tension, the fear, and the paranoia that "that life" creates for those in it. The story is suspenseful and always interesting. The scariest thing about this book is that it all really happend...Book Review: it doesn't get any better than this

murder machine is the best book i've read . the book tells it how it was and that's the sickest part abuot it . i've lived in canarsie all my life and even had the good fortune of knowing them, well some really but ill tell you something they are still heros in canarsie . people still talk about them till this day and its been about 10 to 15 years now that there in jail . ps the exit # on the beltparkway to get off at canarsie is 13. huh
