Book Review: love the 'search for the right school' for Kindergarten
Summary: 5 Stars
I skipped right to the 'in search of the best Kindergarten' for my 4 year old chpaters and had a great laugh!! I totally sympathize with the author's worries! The assessments, the snobbishness, and the price tag of all those different private schools are enough to drive a parent insane. Then there's Sandra's angst. I love how she made the trials funny and I have no problems with the swearing - it was judiciously used. :) I'm happy someone finally made this whole raising a child/giving them the best/whole child/multi-intelligence/organic/guilt-ridden craze funny. I think she has a niche in comedy that no other comedians have gone.
I also enjoyed her review of the spa in Napa, sounds like a great place to spend some time when I win the lottery. :) Also LOVED the parts about her Dad, LOL funny; and I could relate to her relationship with her husband. I appreciate her frankness, she has a new fan in me.
