Book Review: Kevin has my respect and both of his books are fantastic!

The reviews of this book are really divided. It seems that you can either think Kevin is a brave, intelligent, consumer advocate who has the best interests of the common person at heart because they are being brainwashed by all of the drug ads that they see on TV or by the marketing for the food we eat, or you think he is trying to scare people into buying his book and making him rich at the expense of the drug companies who must obviously be role models for how to conduct business in today's society.
I happen to trust Kevin and believe pretty much everything he believes, except for the statement about the sun not causing cancer. I do have a feeling that he and whoever he heard that from may find out later that it is an error. But aside from that, how can you NOT come away from reading Kevin's books and not learn a tremendous amount of alternative treatments to diseases that you have never been told about?
I've never heard of a candida yeast overgrowth in our bodies that can cause all sorts of health problems. But thanks to Kevin, I know about that now. I know he's not the first person to talk about this, but he's the one who got me interested in this stuff.
I know someone who had suffered from bad acne his entire life and when I talked to him about Kevin's book, he told me that he cured his acne problem by going to a homeopathic doctor who put him on a candida cleanse and he saw a noticeable difference within three days and was nearly acne free within a month. How can you argue that Kevin is making this stuff up?
I know someone else who has had health problems since I've known her and her husband has so many health problems right now that he's on 12 different prescription medications right now. How can all of that NOT be causing tremendous side effects within his body? I bought so many copies of Kevin's first Natural Cures book and have given them away to family and friends to help educate them, and I gave her a copy of his book this afternoon.
In this day and age, with no diseases truly cured since polio many, many years ago, where is all of our money going when we donate to these Societies and Associations? I've become more and more convinced, more so now than ever before after reading Kevin's books, that we will never see a cure for any disease come from a pharmaceutical company. It would be tremendously stupid for them to start selling drugs that could cure diseases, because they would effectively put themselves out of business.
On the other hand, I want to learn more about the natural cures and unbelievable machines and treatments that exist in other countries that are illegal in the United States, because our government has put the profits of the drug companies before the health and well being of our people.
The cat is out of the bag now more than ever and I don't think this momentum can be stopped. If someone can cure someone else of cancer using natural treatments, they shouldn't have to move their practice to Mexico, near the border of the United States. People shouldn't have to fly to Switzerland for live cell injections. This is not a free country if the people who are trying to help us are being censored.
Is it going to take an uprising of The People to demand universal health care and easy access to alternate disease treatments? Are we going to have to pressure Congress into obliterating the joke of a law that states "only a drug can cure, treat, or prevent a disease"? Are we going to allow the FDA and FTC to be judge, jury, and executioner?
Who is standing up to these people in a way that Kevin is? All of these negative reviews of Kevin's books astound me. This new book is fantastic. My only wish is that both Natural Cures and More Natural Cures Revealed could have been a single book, because then it would be the comprehensive masterpiece that I believe them to be.
As a subscriber to his website, this new book is a bit of a repeat from the newsletters posted on his website over the last year, but that doesn't mean that what he is saying is any less powerful. You need to educate yourself. I believe the best way to do that is to read Kevin's books and do internet searches for the various things that Kevin talks about, and now visit the actual websites that he gives in his new book.
I have stopped using deodorant with aluminum zirconium in it, I have changed shampoos, toothpaste, and lotion. I don't microwave foods much any longer. I found some organic cookies, crackers, graham crackers, and jelly that are free of high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils and are absolutely delicious. I alternate between my regular supermarket and a natural foods store. And the biggest change for me... I stopped drinking soda about three months ago and have only been drinking water, with an occasional juice or non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri if I am out at a restaurant. I haven't been able to totally cut out fast food, because many times I leave work at 2am and I'm hungry and tired, but I am working on it.
The point of my review is that you can't just believe everything that you read or hear. Many times, the answer to your problems is being hidden from you and you just need to decide to find the answers for yourself. I believe you can find those answers in Kevin's book and that's why I am giving his book 5 stars.
Thank you for reading and I apologize for the length of this review. And Kevin, if you're reading this, thank you for opening my mind to this stuff in a way that no one has ever been able to. Please don't ever give up the fight.
