Book Reviews of MommywoodBook Review: Down to Earth Summary: 5 Stars
Tori is very down to earth and honest. Every thoughts, worries, happiness, are written down very sincerely. No fluff whatsoever. She is very funny & friendly too. Nothing like her mother, which by the way I already read her mother's book. Two totally opposite people and her mother is the kind of person, I would Not like to meet at all. That's very sad. But Tori is doing very well with the positive choices she is making for her life and for others. Keep up the great work Tori!
Book Review: What a great follow-up to sTORI Telling : ) Summary: 5 Stars
Loved sTORI Telling and found Mommywood to be a great read too. Love how open and honest she is in every aspect of her life, nothing is off limits. Her style of writing wants you to continue reading, even after you know you should be sleeping because you have to get up early for work the next morning. Great read for anyone interested in learning how a celebrity juggles being famous and raising a family in the chaos that is Hollywood. Looking forward to her next book!
Book Review: Really like this book. Summary: 5 Stars
I have been a big fan of Tori Spelling for years and have really enjoyed this book. I think some of the critics are taking it a bit too seriously and should just look at it as just a fun read. It's interesting to see her life as a Mom in the spotlight. Anohter book that people who liked this one would probably enjoy is sTORI Telling. It's also quite entertaining.
Book Review: A fun read! Summary: 5 Stars
After enjoying sTori Telling so much I decided to give this one a chance as well. Just as expected, it's funny and entertaining. I was never much of a Tori Spelling fan until her TV show on Oxygen - now I can't get enough! She's nothing like I expected and was pleasantly surprised by her (and Dean's) down-to-earth attitude they've managed to incorporate into their not-so-normal lives. If you're looking for a book that's a fun read, this is it!
Book Review: Charming and approachable read Summary: 5 Stars
I read sTORItelling out of a sort of morbid curiosity. To my surprise, I really enjoyed it. Although I've still never seen her reality shows (they're on my Netflix queue), I rented her VH1 series So NoTORIous, and loved it.
Mommywood is a great addition to her work, and is honest and earnest and feels like a conversation with someone you already know. I hope that Tori keeps writing and inviting fans into her life.
